1972 Ford F250 4x4 "Highboy"  "Sport Custom"

Very hard to find  & desirable 1972 Ford F250 factory "Highboy" 4x4, with the cool looking Sport Custom trim package.  Most of the pre 73's have been beat to death or already rotted out.  This truck is a true survivor.  It has only had two adult owners, and has a pretty straight body.  It originally had a 360, but now has a strong rebuilt 390 4bbl, 4 speed,  4:10 axles with a limited slip rear-end, and the heavy duty big hub front end.  I call this 4x4 99.9% rustfree because it has some deep surface rust and some pin holes on the outer passengers bed side in the seem.  As you experts on the 67 - 72's know, the bed seems were the worst part of those trucks.  Other than that the truck is 100% rustfree.  Other than that there is just surface type rust from normal use, and being a 43 year old classics 4x4.  This is a neat proud 4x4, that runs strong and drives nice.  The 4x4 system works just fine also.

I have only had a couple pre 73 4x4's, and this one is a a pretty nice example of an early Highboy.
