1978 F150 4x4 "Lariat"
Very Rare 1978 F150 SWB 4x4 with the Top-of-The-Line Lariat trim. This is the first short bed Lariat I have ever purchased. I have only seen one other SWB 4x4 Lariat for sale. This one is from Wyoming and is 99% rustfree. This truck is the very desirable red and white with red interior. Other options include: nice running 400, nice shifting C6 AT, AC (not working), power steering, power disc brakes, tilt (mechanism is loose), intermittent wipers, locking hood, quad front shocks, etc. The interior is nice, however it could use carpet and the dash pad has some cracks. The body is straight, the paint shines nice, but has some touch ups. The inside of the bed, bed rails, and tailgate are very nice. The trim is nice but is missing one piece on the left front fender. I have located a nice piece of trim and will have it installed prior to purchase.
Overall
this is a nice clean truck. It is very presentable as it is, but a
truck this rare deserves a full restoration.
