Cool Truck!  Hard to find and desirable short bed step side 4x4.  This is a 1978 Ford F150 4x4, with Premium Ranger trim package.  This tuck has had the same owner since 1980.  This truck is rustfree from California, and has a nice look and stance.  The body and bed are straight.  Even the wood in the bed is still usable.  It features a strong and smooth 351, and a nice shifting C6 automatic.  It also has factory cruise control, power steering, power disc brakes, etc.  These were the last of Ford's heavy duty half ton 4x4's.  They still had straight axle Dana 44 fronts, NP 205 transfer cases, and 9" rears.  It also has conservative 3.50 axles.

This stepside has a mild lift that gives it that perfect look.  It has nice 33x12.5x15 tires on it.  The interior is nice, with a nice sounding AM/FM stereo.   As with every one of these step sides I have owned, there is some rust on the step support inside the rear wheel opening, see pics, but other than that it is totally rustfree.  This 4x4 is a nice driver just as she sits.  It is hard to say much more about this truck without just letting the pictures speak for them selves.
