1996 Ford F250 4x4 Crew Cab "Short Bed" with "XLT" Trim
1996 F250 crew cab 4x4.  This is a rare and very desirable short bed model.  99% of the crew cabs produced in 96 where long beds.  This unique truck  is 100% rustfree from California and still features it's original paint.  The body has some small dents, but hasn't been a beat work truck.  This is a one owner truck, with only 149k miles.  It also comes with all the factory documentation that came with the truck when new, including the window sticker.  I love getting this original documentation.

This is a fully loaded "XLT" model.  It looks to have most every optioned offered in 1996.  It features a strong fuel injected 460, nice shifting overdrive automatic, Cold A/C, PW, PDL, PMirrors, Tilt, Cruise, Class III receiver hitch, with electronic brake controller, Dual tanks etc.  It also has a nice sounding factory AM/FM/CD stereo, and working keyless entry.  I has a nice flip over ball 5th wheel hitch as well.

The interior is very clean for it's age.  With very little wear.  We installed a new headliner and windshield also.

I have had several 80's and 90's crew cab fords, but this is only my second short bed.   This truck runs and drives perfect.  This crew cab feature the independent  Dana 50 front axle with the Sterling limited slip rear axle with 4.10 gears.  The brakes stop nice, and the suspension is tight.  The exhaust is throaty sounding.  It has new 285/75/16 all terrain tireson nice factory "Bullet Hole" alloys.  This is the perfect wheel and tire combination for these trucks.

This is a no excuses period hop in and drive crew cab 4x4.  These crew cabs are drying up fast, and the values are going up even faster.  Don't drag your feet on this one.
